The grid not only generates the test scripts but also generates the scenario view, a documented format, familiar to test plan designers who might record a test case on a Word Document.

SmarteScript is an extremely powerful, yet easy to use application for regression and functional testing. Only a few steps are required to generate test scripts in addition to building a complete test harness for the application under test. The process treats every module of a product like a business process, thereby significantly reducing the number of scripts that need to be created while assuring maximum optimization and test coverage.

Self-generated Test Scripts - Easy to use click and learn technology records all the window and object properties of the application under test. With SmarteScript, the test engineer does not need to follow the traditional model of recording scripts. Instead, the user instructs SmarteScript to do it! Self-generated test scripts encompass all relevant windows and objects for the business process being tested.

Grid-driven Testing - SmarteScript automatically creates a Grid that tracks and drives all test cases, assuring total test coverage. The Grid contains all the data types that will be tested as well as the objects and the type of actions to be performed on the objects. A Random Feature can be used to perform actions on objects such as tables, list items and combo-boxes.

Scaleable Regression Manager -SmarteScript expedites the creation of regression tests by creating a list of test cases to be executed as a single set each time there a change is made to the application.

Automated Report Writer - Following the execution of the scripts, as well as any regression set of tests, SmarteScript automatically generates a detailed report for each step of every test case. The test engineer can easily view and access the test information. The generated report contains details regarding the type of objects as well as the data being tested. No additional script coding is required to generate detailed reports
