Test products provide solutions for testing systems, networks and applications. Network products provide solutions for analyzing, troubleshooting, testing and monitoring networks. Monitoring products monitor and alert on server and network resources and outages. All Test Products:

To Test Software (User Interface):

Software Test tools are designed to automate the repetitive and manual process of testing software. The tool recreates the process of executing the software and automates validation.

To Test Servers and Infrastructure:

Application Stress and Load tools test your application servers to resolve issues that would otherwise impact application scalability and performance.

Network Traffic Generators load and stress network devices, test WAN links, or network configuration of VLAN's and QOS/TOS.

Network Impairment or WAN Emulation:

WAN Emulators simulate limited bandwidth, latency, packet loss and corruption testing the impact on applications or network devices.

Application Performance Analysis:

Application Analyzers pinpoint code performance issues. They also can be used for what if performance analysis projecting how an application will perform over WAN connections.

All Network Products:

Packet Analyzer:

As data streams travel back and forth over the network, the sniffer, protocol analyzer or network analyzer captures each packet. Today's analyzer's not only decode packets but can be used to gather statistics, or store the packets for forensic anaylsis.

Application Analyzers:

Application performance of networked applications can only be evaluated by the interplay of packets between clients and servers. Application Analyzers can help break out the cause to network, client or server. More specialized products can deliver code thread analysis and predictive analysis required by quality assurance and development teams.

Network Planning:

The bandwidth intense nature of next generation applications requires detailed network planning. No longer is extrapolating port utilization trends acceptable. New WAN connections, security requirements and streaming applications require the use of VLAN's and QOS. This requires tools to determine the current configuration and types of utilization to aid in planning and then tools to generate traffic to test newly configured networks. Wan simulators also aid in testing network configurations.

Network Test:

To test the network means different things to different people. Some want to generate network traffic while others may want to simulate network connections and impair the packets. Others are trying to diagnose the network to understand impairments or the composition of traffic across a network segment. Others want to understand how networks impact application performance.

Network Forensics:

Network Forensics tools sometimes referred to as NFAT's and Audit tools which can be referred to as device discovery, mapping or system documentation software augment traditional intrusion detection (IDS) and firewall products.

VoIP:
