NimBUS Application Monitoring

Active Directory Monitor

Monitors the Active Directory event logs (Directory Service, DNS Server, and File Replication Service) for new messages and generates NimBUS alarm messages.

Citrix Response Time

Define a set of Citrix ICA connections and specify a time interval for each item defined telling the probe how often it should perform a response time check. The ICA response check will perform a login and an optional application availability response times.

Citrix/Windows Terminal Server User Control

Gives full control over the login state of the users on a Windows or Citrix terminal server, by automatically logging off users and closing all associated processes and file handles based on your parameters. This solves the problem with terminal servers not always doing this in a satisfactory way, thereby increasing stability and reducing the need for reboots. The Terminal Server Probe allows you to create an exception-list with users that you do not wish to be logged off, or alternatively a list of users to be logged off.

Exchange Response

The NimBUS for Microsoft Exchange solution monitors and verifies email 'send' and 'receive' functions. It monitors outgoing mail delivery, incoming mail receipt and total round trip (send/receive) response times. The solution monitors all Microsoft Exchange server resources and services. To aid in capacity planning and load balancing the solution provides trend reporting for Microsoft Exchange server performance and resource utilization. All Microsoft Exchange status and response time data is analyzed and displayed in graphical enterprise consoles, performance reports and SLA reports.

Lotus Notes Response Time

Monitor connectivity, failover and response times of a Lotus Notes server.

Lotus Notes Server Monitor

Monitors a set of Notes servers. Alarm messages can be generated on statistics variables and log entries. Quality of service messages can be sent on availability and statistics variables.

MQSeries

The WebSphere MQSeries probe monitors queue managers on Windows systems, making it easy to monitor events and activities on queue managers on multiple nodes in your network. The probe produces event and trace messages, indicating what processing is taking place. This information is written to a log file and when MQSeries event messages are detected, these messages are read, converted into readable event messages and displayed on the NimBUS Enterprise Console.

Remedy Response Time

Monitors response times for Remedy ARS and generates QoS data based on the results. It also acts as a gateway for alarms into Remedy ARS.
